Energy Conservation Video.. Messaging For Kids. Questions and Answers.

Questions:
1. Who do you think are the target audience of this clip?
2. What do you think are the main key messages that the clip is trying to communicate?
3. Do you think the clip is effective? Why or why not?
4. How do you think the messaging/clip could be further improved?

Answers:
1. They target children and kids.
2. They are trying to tell us that we should be more energy efficient by choosing bulbs that use less electricity and those which last 10 times longer than incandescent bulbs. They also use appliances use as a timer and motion censors  to save energy.
3. Yes, I think that it is very effective as they convey a strong message to save our Earth.
4. They could elaborate more on how CFL bulbs are more energy efficient than incandescent ones, and teach us more energy saving habits other than light bulbs.

Questions:
1.What do you think are some of the limitations of using renewable energy resources, based on the clip that you have seen?
2.What are some possible solutions that the video have suggested?
3.How do you think Energy Conservation messages can be communicated effectively in the school or local context? Give or suggest some examples.

Answers:

1. They cannot built big wind turbines too close to homes, wind turbines were making a lot of loud noise and the disturbing turbine blades kept cutting through the morning and evening sun 

2. Use smaller turbines in residential areas and put huge machines away from people. These are possible solutions to reduce the inconvenience and trouble of people.

3. They must make sense and be comprehended easily for people to understand the meanings.

3 things i have learnt in today's lesson

1. I have learnt that sectional views are whereby there is a cut through an object to see the interior.
2. Oblique drawings are different from isometric drawings. they show in different degrees of the object.
3. When we connect the computer to the visualiser, we should change the display to 1280x780 Hz 60. :)
